Product Description

The Hi Tech Cell Fender was designed to meet the high energy absorption and durability requirements of modern ship berthing. Based on the design of the cylindrical fender but engineered to take advantage of the buckling of the fender walls in the axial direction rather than the radial direction as in a cylindrical fender. This shift in orientation allowed higher deflection with far greater energy than the radial compression fenders. The internal flanges on both ends have allowed fenders to mate with the berths and the steel frontal panels. Originally produced in the ***0s the HCF has seen service in large and small ports throughout India and worldwide.
