Cerium Bromide(CeBr3) is a new generation halide scintillator, it has fast decay time(*0 ns), high light output(*0,**0 Photons/MeV) and relatively excellent * *(*%@********************t was characterized by a very small instrinsic background(<0.**5 counts/second/cc as standard, <0.**5 counts/second/cc as ultra low), all of these properties made it suitable to be used in high resolution gamma spectrometry and relevant application.
