CitroShield Disinfectant is a non toxic phyto-pharmaceutical of organic origin that acts mechanistically by destroying the cellular membrane of a micro-organism. The efficacy of CitroShield Disinfectant is due to a synergistic reaction created between the non-toxic bioflavonoids, ascorbic acid and other natural organic acids that are included in the formulation. CitroShield is carried in a food safe solvent, which makes the active ingredients infinitely soluble in water. It is completely organic and is certified by The Biological farmers of Australia. CitroShield Disinfectant is completely harmless to the solid cells of plants, to animals and to people. It is a terminal sanitiser and is not required to be rinsed off treated surfaces once applied. It is food contact safe and non-hazardous if it enters waterways. CitroShield has a kill rate of *9.*9% on contact and bacteria have not been found to build up resistance to it through mutation due to the unique physical action of CitroShield. The retained efficacy (up to *8hours) and non rinse application of CitroShield is effective against Biofilms which can be a major source of food contamination.
