Condenser Tube Cleaning System
CTCS (Condenser Tube Cleaning System) is a very important cleaning device in fire (nuclear) power plants. In the heat exchanger pipes, any tiny impurity in the formation of scale deposits will reduce the heat transfer efficiency, causing increased discharge steam pressure of the turbine, and eventually lead to the loss of generator energy output. Therefore, keeping the cleanness of the condenser tube and improving the efficiency of condenser heat transfer have a very important influence on improving thermal efficiency of the whole unit.

Why Shall We Clean the Tubes?
The efficiency of heat exchange in the condensers of steam turbines has a direct effect on the power generation. Experience has shown that a reduction of 1 mbar in the condenser vacuum of a **0 MW power unit, leads to a final loss of about 1 MW of power output. An unclean condenser can easily lose over *0 mbar vacuum. In such a case the use of a CTCS will increase the power output by more than *0 MW. Hence it is extremely important to maintain condenser tubes as clean as possible by using highly efficient and reliable equipments.
