Application:

This type of isotopic copper powder is mainly used in aerospace and defense sectors. Copper isotopes Cu**3 and Cu**5 are used to study copper metabolism and gastrointestinal diseases. Cu**3 is used for production of medical radioisotope Zn**2 and can also be used for the production of Cu**4 which is used in cancer diagnosis and treatment. Cu**5 has also been proposed as a precursor for the (cyclotron) production of Cu**4.
