Nowadays hospitals use esophagus or rectal wired-probes to monitor temperature, which are invasive, need sterilization, are difficult to operate, and wire connected. Medisim's CoreTemp™ is a non-invasive system attached to the body. It transmits temperature data to a monitor / distant unit through wireless/wired technology, continuously and in real-time. The CoreTemp™ provides an overall solution for "last mile" communication, between the patient and the in-room-monitor. It eliminates the use of invasive temperature probes in surgeries, intensive care & neonatal units, and offers hospitals a novel method which is smart and non-invasive. The disposable patch constantly transmits accurate body temperature to the vital signs monitor, thus improving safety of operation environment. CoreTemp comes in 2 versions: Wired and wireless. For each version it is possible to receive multi-use or disposable patches.
