Cross Coupling Catalysts Umicore has developed comprehensive portfolio of Pd-Based cross-coupling catalysts, spanning from Pd precursors to highly active Pd-phosphine catalysts through innovative PD-NHC catalysts. Whether you need to perform Suzuki coupling with strongly hindered and/or deactivated substrates or a Neghishi coupling with substrate carrying sensitive functional groups, or your search for a catalyst for a Buchwald-Hartwig Amination reaction, you will find the right one at Umicore. Many reports describe further applications using these catalysts, such as Sonogashira reactions, Kumada couplings and others. Suzuki-Miyaura reactions Room temperature reactions allow couploing of various substrates, leading even to tri-ortho substituted products using unactivated aryl chlorides. Kumada Couplings Pd-NHC catalysts allow efficient coupling of a wide range of aryl chlorides with organomagnesium reagents at low Pd loadings - even at room temperature - tolerating various functional groups giving access to products of sterically and also electronically demanding substrates. Buchwald-Hartwig Amination reactions Umicore CX catalysts are among the most active Buchwald-Hartwig amination catalysts known to date. They allow coupling of deactivated substrates even at room temperature!
