DE Filter

1.Overview

DE-type filter was developed on the basis of D-type filter and E-type filter. This technology adopts the filter material with intensive filter pore as medium. This new high-efficiency filter has a number of advantages as follows:

-  fast filtration speed;

-  high quality effluent;

-  adoption of modular filter element;

-  standardized design;

-  flexible settling of disposal unit on the basis of filter capacity;

-  low energy requirement;

-  high capacity for wastewater treatment;

-  small floor area requirement;

-  reliable in operation;

-  easy maintenance.

2. Technical Characteristics

1）. Small footprint: comparing with D-type filter, the required area for DE-type is approx. 1/3 less than D-type;

2）. Low energy consumption: operational electric energy demand is 0.****7 kWh/ton water;

3）. Low headloss: water headloss is 0.**0.3M water column;

4）. Convenient for installation, examination and repair: standardized & modular design, manufacture and installation;

5）. Specific filter cloth: knitted by specific equipments with utilization of specific macromolecular fibrous and adoption of special process, which was developed and specially produced by Dean Group;

6）. The consumption rate of water for suction washing is less than 1%;

7）. Easy control: DE-type filter can be implemented by full-automatic control.
