We offers unbacked and backed diagnostic membranes. Backed membranes are directly cast onto a **0 micron thick clear polyester film, making the membranes mechanically more rigid and thus easier to handle. The unbacked version allows the application of reagent on both sides of the material, especially on the often favored belt side which is occluded by the polyester film in the backed version. Both types have specifically been optimized for their application in lateral flow tests. They offer high protein binding, and test sensitivity as well as outstanding consistency in their performance. Unbacked NC membrane
This unbacked membrane allows the dispensing of the reagent directly on the belt side of the membrane. Due to the manufacturing process, this side of the membrane always presents a clean, smooth and defect free surface, allowing for sharp test and control lines.
Backed NC membrane
This cellulose nitrate membrane is directly cast onto a **0 祄 thick polyester backing. Our manufacturing process allows for a clean and smooth surface. The strong polyester backing allows for ease of handling of membrane sheets.
