Diatomite series products are carefully made from sediment of single-cell alga water plant. Because the category of diatorm is complex and porosity, the diatomite products has the un-competitive filtraing capability and absorbent capability than any other filtrating medium, at present it is widely used for filtrate-supporting dose, stuffing and carriers. The diatomite series products made in our factory use good quality diatomite which contained more than *7% of silicon dioxide as its raw material, adopting purified coal gas as its fuel, it is formed after burning in revolving kiln and gas-dividing. The diatomite based products can be divided into the following three categories by production process: Dried product: After the raw diatomite is dried under **0degree to **0degree, and then purified by high pressure gas flow pulverization, the product can be made by classification, it appear grey white-light yellow. Roasted product: The product is made through roasting the cleaned diatomite under high temperature of**0degree***0degree, high pressure gas flow pulverization and classification, it appears orange and brown. Melting aided roasted product: The cleaned diatomite is mixed with proper amount of melting additive, ang roasted under **0degree****0degree, pulverization and classification, the product appears white. The diatomite based filtering agent can be used in filtering of fluids with different viscosity applied in industries of wine-making, brewage, pharmacy and sugar making, and it can be also used in filters with different specification.
