Product Description

Diminazene Aceturate is an aromatic diamidine derivative related to pentamidine. It is a trypanocide, babesicide and bactericide, it seems to act directly on parasites, being bound to them. It kills a number of bacterial species, but is mainly active against Brucella species and streptococci. It is a chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment and prophylaxis of Babesiosis, Trypanosomiasis and mixed haemoprotozoal infections in livestock.
