Kapton tape is consisting of a polyimide film and silicone adhesive. It is designed for high temperature masking applications, including the protection of printed circuit board gold finger contacts during wave soldering. 
It has the excellent characteristics of high temperature resistance, wearable, no residues after removing and solvent resistance.

Applications:
It mainly used in the electroplate,hinge connection and welding of PCB.
I t widely used to prevent electroplate liquid seeping into the electronic components.Also, it can be used to cover the terminal parts when weld the circuit surface.  Due to its superior solvent resistant and sealing,it can be bonded with the circuit board even in the welding,grinding,stoving,electroplating envirmoment and almost no residues after removing.
