Multi-turn actuators for on-off duty DMC The design principle of multi-turn actuators is to turn a multiple of **0 degree at its output-drive. DREHMO multi-turn actuators are designed to operate valves from 2 to ***0 revolutions per stroke. Within this range, the position indicating devices, like limit switches and the electronic position transducer could be adjusted. Multi-turn actuators are fitted mainly to valves, which transform the rotation of the actuator´s output drive via a threaded bush into a linear movement, which is typically for gate valves and globe valves. Multi-turn actuators for on-off duty (short time operation S***0/*5 min.) mostly operate valves with only a few open-close-cycles per month. Flanges and output-drives of the multi-turn actuators are standardized by DIN ISO ***0 or DIN ***0 respectively and therefore fit to any modern valve design. Special output flanges for DREHMO actuators are available on request. DREHMO multi-turn actuators are destinguished according to their rated torque into three housing sizes: up to *0 Nm: DMC *0, *9 *0 Nm to **0 Nm: DMC *0, **0, **9 **0 Nm to ***0 Nm: DMC **0, **0, ***0 Characteristics of Matic C The Matic C control unit is located within the actuator housing on top of the countergear unit. Several advantages derive from this compact design: Easy access to any component of the control unit No secondary housing necessary, consequently no additional sealing The complete control unit can be hinged up (for full access) for commissioning and programming.
