It is well known that all pressure vessels are subject to third party approved “thorough” and annual “working” inspections.  Both inspections require the vessel to be removed from service resulting in operational costs and system downtime.  The innovative valve improves statutory/legal compliance, removes the need to isolate the vessel during the “working” inspection, removes the need for working at height, interactions with overhead services and manual handling activities, the PRV promotes well defined engineering and safety best practice principals with minimum spend to save on AMP efficiency.
