Product Description

Dextrins are polysaccharides formed by heating dry or acid-modified starches in a proess called pyrolysis.
They can be used at higher solids levels than native or modified starches, creating stronger bonds, more tack and faster-drying properties than pastes made from unmodified starch.

• It is used in foundry just as a binder for cores due to the following attributes such as stickiness, less viscosity and hygroscopic properties
• This is **0% soluble in water and also helps to increase dry strength
• Owing to its binding characteristics it is used for core washes, binder for mould and also required in varied applications such as paste pyrotechnics, adhesives and gum.
