Product Description


I. Product Features 

The experiment kit is tightly close to such teaching syllabus as Optical Fiber Communication Principle; and experiment content is abundant, which could fully meet the teaching requirement of optical fiber communication courses on communication, electronic majors among colleges and universities. 

(1) The experiment kit adopts entire board design, and each experiment module is independent respectively, special optic devices are protected by glass over, SMT, and module components are full symmetrical.

(2) It integrates 1550nm, 1310nm and 850nm (optional) optic-terminal module, analog signal source, digital signal source, serial-port communication module, telephone module, digital terminal, main loop and backup loop. Among them, preparation ring is as secondary development module at the same time, which could directly process seamless connection with other modules in the experiment kit; therefore experiment and secondary development are more convenient. 

(3) it shows the whole process of optic fiber communication by seven aspects, they are: fiber and cable; communication optic devices (active device and passive device); digital fiber optic communication system (optic transceiver); analog fiber optic communication system; fiber optic communication new technology; fiber optic communication network. 

(4) This experiment system is based on SDH design, and makes out 2M frame structure suitable for teaching with the reference of SDH and E1 signals frame structure. It enables users to further know the basic principle of optic communication. 

(5) This experiment system provides such circuit code-patterns as 5B6B, 5B1P, 5B1C, HDB3, CMI, descrambling and etc, so that users could further know circuit code-patterns function in the optic transmission process. The operation method of various optic passive devices and characteristics test combine the teaching and practice closely. 

(6) It combines with SDH technology and makes out basic communication frame structure, which realizes the transmission of multi-point cross-business signals ( such as digital signal, telephone speech signal, and etc) 

(7) It has the function of multi-computer unit network communication, and could compose ring network via optic fiber connection between multi-set experiment devices to complete transmission between multi-point for digital and telephone speech signal. Among them, telephone speech signal is processed trunk by adopting 1 signaling, which is completely same with the practical device. This experiment could adopt twin-fiber communication mode to realize the protection function of self-healing ring. 

(8) It adopts large scale FPGA as experiment platform; in addition, it is equipped with secondary development board, which includes lots of secondary development experiments.
