A flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC), is an industrial
container made of flexible fabric that is designed for storing and
transporting dry, flowable products. FIBCs are made of thick woven
strands of oriented Polypropylene (PP). Its capacity is normally
around 1,**0 kg or 2,**0 lb, but the larger units can
store even more.
It is convenient for bulk shipment of powder materials, with the
advantages of large volume, lightweight, easy handling, mechanical
handling characteristics of adaptation, etc, and is one of the
