Standards and Forms of Supply:
Our freezing plant uses both plate freezing and IQF freezing techniques. The cold-storage temperature is maintained between minus *8 to minus *2 degrees centigrade.
Following are the forms which are available after freezing:

Headless, Tail on, Shell on (HLSO)
Head, Tail and Shell on (HOSO)
Peeled, un-de-veined (PUD)
Peeled, cut and de veined (PND)
Peeled, pulled de-veined (PnD)
Shell cut and de-veined (Easy Peel) (CnD)
Peeled, Cut and de-veined, Tail on (PDTO)
Butterfly
Skewer
Nobashi

Packing Standard:

Block Frozen:
In block frozen, shrimps are generally packed in polythene wrapped blocks inside a printed Inner Carton in different weights like **0 g, **0 g, 1.*0 kg, 1.*0 kg, 1.*0 kg, 2.*0 kg and 4 lbs.

IQF Frozen:
In IQF frozen, in general shrimps are packed in a printed poly bag or plain poly bag with a printed Rider Card in different weights like **0 g, **0 g, **0 g, 1.*0 kg, 1.*0 lb, or 2.*0 lbs. This packing can be organized with various quantities of glazing like *0%, *5%, *0% or even *5%.
Other retail packs can also be produced in both the freezing methods according to the buyer’s options. As a processor, we are also allowed to produce products in buyer’s Brand but in this case, permission has to be obtained from the Department of Fisheries of the Government of Bangladesh.

•At present plenty of Pangasius is being produced in Bangladesh. Southfield Fisheries will introduce Pangasius fillet in the international market.
