1. Light weight: the density for frp is about 1.**1.9g/cm3, which is only 1/4 of that for steel, and is 1/3 lighter than aluminum, but the static mechanic strength  for the frp is similar to or over ordinary carbon steel.
2. Anti-corrosion: Full of inert element composition, frp has high resistance to severe environment, such as acid and alkali.
3. Low coefficient of thermal expansion, good heat-insulation.
