Character:

In adhesive and sealant industries, FT series hydrocarbon resin is adequate for solvent-based pressure sensitive adhesive (such as PVC, adhesive tapes, medical adhesive tapes, and so on). They not only have good compatibility with natural rubber, various synthetic rubbers and styrene polymers (such as SIS, SBS, SEBS) as well as EVA and natural tackifying resins (terpene, rosin and its derivatives), but also improves various performance of pressure sensitive adhesive in different degrees.

Under the condition of ensuring initial bonding strength and cohesive strength, they have higher racking strength, high shearing strength and excellent age resistance. They can make the initial bonding strength, cohesive strength and racking strength reach the best balance.
 

The products can be separately used as tackifying resins or used with other tackifying resins to improve some performances of the solvent-based pressure sensitive adhesive.

In the processing of rubbers, they can play softening and strengthening roles, improve the extensibility and anti-strip performance of rubbers and significantly improve the rubbers’ autogenous bonding; however, they don’t affect the curing time and physical properties after curing and can avoid the adhesiveness of rubbers to processing machinery.
