Currently, the Company has a Longlive Branch of National Sugar Engineering Research Center, a national public laboratory for functional sugar, a functional sugar engineering research center of Shandong Province and a provincial enterprise technical center. It has undertaken *5 major issues and projects such as “the tenth five-year” program, “**3” program, “the eleventh five-year” program, demonstrative project of national high-tech industrialization, special national bioengineering high-tech industrialization project, etc., fulfilled over *0 scientific and technological achievements, obtained *4 patents for invention, and 1 national prize for technological invention, with industrialization of six achievements realized, including xylo-oligosaccharides and cellulosic ethanol. It has established long-term stable cooperation with China Agricultural University, Ocean University of China, Zhejiang University, Shandong University and other scientific research institutes, and engaged over *0 experts and professors to serve as its long-term technical consultants. It has built a bioengineering laboratory in China Agricultural University, jointly created an “Ocean Modern Research Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine” with Ocean University of China, and is a designated training enterprise of the “National Training Base for Life Science and Technology Talents” of Shandong University.

For the purpose of developing modern sunrise biological industry, the Company adheres to a continuously and independently innovative road which integrates production, education and research into one. Taking “developing green cyclic economy” as the mainline and high efficient and cyclic utilization of resources as the development direction, it has innovatively introduced a new concept of “biorefinery”, originated a new cellulosic ethanol production technology.
