Product Description

It is a type of pulses mostly consumed  in particular in Middle East and India.  It is said to be originated from Central Asia and it has been one of the basic nutrition of Turks for years.  It is marketed in dried form.  When kept in air-tight containers, it can be preserved in ambient temperatures up to one year.  It is most abundant type of the lentil in Europe and America.  It is rich in Calcium,  Vitamin  A and B.  It contain high degree of iron and phosphor.  Green lentil is therefore considered as substitute of meat.
