With higher purity of crystallization and hardness, when abrasive tools are of it, they are suitable of processing hard and brittle materials such as: Hard alloy, titanium alloy, bearing steel as well as some non-metallic materials including: Glass, agate, electrical ceramic, quartz products, rock. Green silicon carbide is also used as higher grade refractory materials, electrical heating element and elements for electrical appliances.
