Product Description

  1. Introduction:
Organic zinc salt flame retardant containing phosphorus is white powder with high temperature resistance and non-migration. It will be melt under high temperature that is benefit for melt blending with polymer, but wont block spinneret orifice. It is especially applied to the halogen-free flame retardant of PET fiber fabric and PET thin film system, and has good compatibility with matrix resin. It can also be applied to injection moulding of PBT and PET. It has excellent flame retardant efficiency with ***4 and nitrogenous flame retardants.

  1. Application:
  1. ***2 can be applied to produce permanent flame retardant polyester such as polyester chip, filament, short fiber, thin film and so on. The produced flame retardant polyester chips have good performance in hue, spinnability, fibre strength and chromaticity. It can do spinning process through any spinning system. It has good thermostability, so it will not decompose in spinning process, and there is no peculiar smell at the scene of the spinning. It can improve antistatic property of polyester production. It is applied to each application area of conventional PET and PBT.
  2. ***2 has prominent flame retardant efficiency, especially to polyester. It is used in the application of injection molding and fiber. Its addition in PET is about 5~*0%. When the addition is 5%, the limit oxygen index (LOI) of the flame retardant material can reach more than *0%. When *0~*5% ***2 and *0~*5% nitrogenous flame retardants such as MPP, MCA are mixed in PBT, the material can reach UL*4V*0 (thickness of 1.6 and 0.8mm).
  3. ***2 can melt in the temperature of above **0℃, then mix with the melted polyester.
 
 
  1. Suggestion:
To make polyester fabric have more stable flame retardant property, *0% PET flame retardant master batches can be produced first, then add the master batches in PET. Flame retardant addition is suggested to be 3%*5%, then oxygen index of fabric will reach above *0%.
Users should choose suitable dyeing and finishing condition, to ensure finished productions reach best permanent flame retardant property.
