It stays hot for about ****0 minutes. 2) To Recharge: Wrap the heat pack in cloth and boil for approx 5 minutes or until the gel becomes clear. It is than ready again for a repeated use. Microwave heating method: place the hand warmer in microwavable container full of water and heat for **3 minutes. If crystal does not turn into liquid completely, re-heat in *0 seconds interval.
