Sculptra is an injectable cosmetic filler that can be used to restore facial volume lost due to aging or illness. It contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible synthetic substance that stimulates collagen production. It can be used to treat deep lines, creases, and folds to give a more youthful appearance.
The areas commonly treated with Sculptra® include: the temples, the mid cheek region and the lower face for hollowing, depressions, fine lines and jowls. Sculptra® can be evenly distributed in all of these areas or focused injections can be performed in specific target regions       Sculptra will last **3 years once the series of treatments are completed. So while it is a bit more costly than H.A. fillers, patients often justify spending a little more for the time in which they can enjoy results. Most fillers only last a year at the most so Sculptra is considered a great investment
