Isolating switches
(disconnectors) are one of high voltage switch appliances that are
widely used. Its function is to isolate or disconnect an electric
circuit. Isolating switches are largely used in power plants and
transformer substations, so its high working reliability is
required. Because of no arc extinguish chamber in isolating switch
it is used only to isolate or disconnect the electric circuit with
no load current, keeping an obvious isolating point between the
equipment to be rehabilitated and power supply so that safety of
workers can be absolutely ensured. Rated voltage of Isolating
switch generally is 1KV and over.
H.V. isolating
switches are classified as indoor one and outdoor one. The H.V.
indoor isolating switch GN series of products includes following
