The following description illustrates the flow of the main components of a PET recycling line which can be customized for any plastic : Bale Releaser: Used to break the bale of plastic bottles in preparation for sorting. Conveyor System: Used to transport the broken apart bottles and detect metal in case there is any. Furthermore the speed of the whole process can be controlled using the dosing silos. In this conveyor system you can choose to employ an automatic or manual sorting system, or a combination of both. We will consult you on which system is more profitable based on your material and your country- specific cost structures. Grinding and Washing: Used to cut the plastic into flakes approximately *0mm in size. The capacity of the machine is completely your choice, but the most common option is between **0 kg/h to ***0kg/hour. The washing system allows the glue and paper to soften and ultimately wash off through the friction cleaner. Hot Wash: Removes the remaining contaminants and adhesives such as glue to achieve the highest grade result possible. Separation Unit: Used to separate PET from polyolefines (PO) using their densities as compared to the density of water. This method achieves an accuracy rate of *9.9% and results in two material flows: PET flakes and a PO mixture. Drying Unit: Used to dry both material flows to a target of less than 0.8% moisture. PET flakes require two dryers, while the PO mixture only requires one. Light fractions: An air separator is used to separate PO labels from grainy PO�s after which the materials are filled into big bags or silos. Heavy fractions: An air separator is used to separate PET dust from grainy PET. Furthermore, grainy PET can be checked for metal of any kind and/or color. The products are then filled into big bags or silos. Circulation Systems: Used to clean the contaminated washing water by means of fibre separators. Dirt is collected in waste worms and clean water is added.
