When the husk around the coconut is not separated into Coco-fibre and Coco-peat, but cut into pieces, Coco-chips are produced. The Coco-chips are washed in clean water to achieve a material which can be safely used in growing media with low EC level (salt content). Using Coco-chips as an additive in potting mixtures creates a growing medium with the ideal physical properties. The chips can absorb water and yet leave enough air available for sensitive plants such as gerberas and orchids. NCP products husk chips in **0g bricks as well as 5kg blocks. If the requirement arise, we once again do product *0kg blocks of husk chips, however, loadability reduces for the *0kg blocks drastically.
