The Lap Timer is triggered by Infra Red light. It consists of a transmitter and a receiver. Each time the driver goes past the pits he will be shown lap number, and then the lap time for that lap. The unit automatically remembers the lap no. and lap time for up to *5 laps. These laps can then be viewed later.
