Product Description

The maxim health is wealth is applicable to the cement kiln, too. As long as the shell is rotating, the level of profitability is high. Every time a kiln is stopped, a drop in revenue occurs. So the choice of the best monitoring tools providing trust indicators before serious failures occur, is essential. Millennium-TMCx™ Infrared Linescanners, enabling continuous surveillance of kiln shell temperature, has a central position in the control room of hundreds of modern cement plants around the world.
The "Opto-mechanical " deflrction unit of all TMCx- Sensors designed to withstand a continuous high-speed operation up to **0Hz. The speed of this scan-mirror is digitally controlled. For every **0° rotation (complete scanline) is effective scan angle or field of view ("FOV") is max **0°. During the scanning the heat radiation of the object is continuosly picked up and transferred by the scan mirror through a lens assembly to the TE-cooled infrared detector. The detector siglal is digitized by a **2 ADC at a sampling rate that results to ***2 points per complete **0° scanline independent of the actual scan speed. The resulting spot measurment information is intermediately stored into a *6 bit pixel buffer together with additional 4 bit sensoe status information and then transmitted in real time at a rate of up to *0 MHz via Gesotec integrated fiber-Optic Data-Link "DaLli-Tx" to the data- acquisition-controller "DACx" located up to 2 Km away.
