Levaquin  is in a group of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. Levaquin fights germs in the body. Levaquin is used for treating various types of bacterial infections in adults, includingskin infection, sinuses infection, kidneys, bladder, or prostate infection. It is also used to treat bacterial infections that cause bronchitis or pneumonia, and to treat people who have been bare to anthrax or plague.
