These products were designed and developed to help the elderly and handicapped to be able to take car of their pets without outside help. LITTER-LIFT is made from a mica clad wood core box. The lid has two cam arms that extend down into the box and attached to an extra deep litter box. As the lid rises, it brings the litter box up to the level of the top of the main box. At this level, weather standing or sitting, it is an easy job to sift the litter for disposal. After sifting, simply push the lid down until it automatically locks. We provide the cat entry hole at the back (hinge end) of the box. This serves two purposes. First, the box can be placed up against the wall leaving just enough room for the cat to enter. This hides the entry hole and disguises the box for what it really is. Another benefit is if you have dogs, it prevents them from poking there noses into someone else’s business if you get my drift.
