Low E Glass Low-E coated glass (Low-E glass) is a product plated by multiplayer metal or other compounds. It is featured of good heat insulation for its high visible light transmittance (VLT) and high middle & far infrared ray reflectivity. Based on the vacuum magnetron sputtering system and according to different needs for energy saving, our company provides customers with different types of Low-E glass, including high-transparency Low-E glass, sun-shading Low-E glass, double-silvering Low-E glass and offsite tempered Low-E glass. High-transparency Low-E glass Features: 1. Higher VLT: full natural lighting and transparent effect. 2. Higher solar transmittance: more solar heat radiation from outdoors with SC (shading coefficient) no less than 0.5. 3. Super-high middle & far infrared ray reflectivity: good heat insulation and lower U-factor (a heat transfer coefficient). Scope: 1. Be applicable in the cold Northern areas. The high solar transmittance keeps the room warm and reflects the heat given off by heaters, home appliances and human bodies back to the room, so as to be effective in reducing the cost for heating. 2. Be suitable for the buildings with transparent appearance, high transparency and good natural lighting. 3. Be more effective in energy conservation after made into hollow glass (coated on the third side). Sun-shading Low-E glass Features: 1. Proper VLT: has certain shading capability to our sight. 2. Lower solar transmittance: be more effective in reduce solar heat radiation from outdoors with SC (shading coefficient) less than 0.5 and good heat insulation. 3. Super-high middle & far infrared ray reflectivity: has lower heat transfer factor U and blocks secondary heat radiation from outdoors. Scope: 1. Be applicable in both the Southern and Northern areas. Although it blocks some solar heat in winter, it blocks more in summer.
