Flam Retardant Magnesium Hydroxide is a high congesting inorganic flame retardant. It is tiny crystal substance, fibrous, with small surface area, with good dispersancy and consistency in macromolecule material. It could be the shapes of particle or sheet, but their performance will be not as well as fibers. It is innocuoussmokeless, flame resisting, guttae obstructing, good filling etc, so be broadly used in polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC rubber, cable, wire, unsaturated polyester, PET, nylon, high temperature engineering plastics etc. Because of its filling and reinforcing property, it can be used in paint or dope. It may play a role of antisepsis, desulphurization, and improve ash if used in heavy oil for lubrication and fuel. Furthermore, it also can be used as filling in electronic industry, medicine, sugar making, paper making etc, and used in heat preserve material and other magnesium salt manufacture.
