4, Characteristics & usage:

Environment-friendly products, excellent flame retardant for plastics and rubber articles.

For super small particle diameter, it can mainly be used as additive for oil products with corrosion resistance and desulfurization functions.

For its high purity and small average particle size, it is used in medicine as magnesium source and purgative, etc., and as anti-acid agent in toothpaste and cosmetics.

Because its decomposition temperature is lower than magnetite, the soft burned magnesium hydroxide will have a high activity, and may be used to produce magnesium oxide with high activity.

Besides, As Mg-base compound resource, it is also widely used for the production of magnesium salt such as magnesia as well as downstream products, such as magnesium acetate, magnesium carbonate.


In environmental protection field, it can replace caustic soda and lime as neutralizing agent for acid-containing wastewater.

It may also be used to smelt magnesium metal, and as a material in heat preserving products or compounds.

Heavy grade of Magnesium Hydroxide may also be applied to pottery industry.
