Fast Ethernet supports wave **0Base-L-X and short

wave **0Base-SX fiber network. The fiber media converter is

 used to convert multi mode fiber signal to single mode

 equivalent that extends the long span fiber connections easily and

 inexpensively. this media converter can be installed as a

standalone unit or as slide-in module to the *9”converter

 rack(up to *4 units)for use at a central wiringcloset
