Product Description

Magnesium alloys have been attractive to aerospace and automobile industry due to their low density, good ductility, moderate strength and good corrosion-resistance.

Strontium is one of the effective alloying elements. Strontium effectively refines the grain, reduces the micro-porosity, and heightens the creep resistance and heat cracking resistance performance of magnesium alloys.

Alloy casting performance can be improved by adding Sr into magnesium alloy. Magnesium alloy can be refined by added a small amount of strontium to magnesium alloy, improving its room temperature mechanical properties.

Application

1. used in the manufacture of high temperature creep performance requirements of automotive transmission parts. 2. Melting processing, grain refinement, heat treatment and optimized processing technology. 3. High room temperature mechanical properties, optimized alloying’ corrosion resistance, which is expected to a new type of lightweight high temperature-standing materials, mainly used for the aerospace industry .
