Overview:

A development system for AVR, PIC and Atmel microcontrollers

MicroGeneric development kit is designed for the academia and embedded systems developers. The MicroGeneric is capable of majority practices and experiments of AVR, Atmel and PIC Microcontroller. To easily study and develop systems of all families Microcontrollers, only a MicroGeneric kit and supported microcontroller board are required.

Board Resource Introduction:

· Switch between power supply through USB and external power supply.

· *6*2 LCD module

· *2 port status LEDs

· 4x4 matrix keyboard

· *2 Interrupt s are provided.

· Potentiometers for simulating analog voltage .

· Real Time Clock DS***2. (Battery is included)

· Reset circuit.

· Chip socket (selective microcontroller plugin) for AVR,PIC and Atmel Microcontroller families

· Digital LED display with *-segment

· Digital thermometer DS***0 for temperature measurement from **5°C to **5°C.

· RS***2 communication for connection with a PC or any other device with a DB9 connector

· All pins are taken out on IDC connectors to make them available for further connections.

Features:

On-board resources： LED, seven segment, interrupt switches, Keypad, character LCD, A/D converter, serial communication, DS*8B*0 digital temperature measurement, DS***2 clock, led matrix and etc.
Supporting Boards： on-board chip socket for PIC, AVR and Atmel Microcontroller of *0PIN, jumper for selection of pull-up and pull-down.
Expansion modules： All modules can be on/off controlled by DIP switch. Each module is designed to connect to I/O port of Microcontroller. All I/O ports are open externally with output socket. Expansion is easily accomplished.
Sample source codes： each module is equipped with at least one detailed example from easy ones to complicated ones. Beginners are enabled to master all types of programming step by step.
Supporting software:Keil, MPLAB, Mikroc and AVR studio.

Examples provided with this development system will show you how to interface microcontrollers with other peripheral components or devices and how to develop your prototype device. Each example contains a detailed description of the relevant program including comments. All these examples can be downloaded from the website.
