This MPEG*2 super low bit rate video compressing encoder is mainly composed of the following modules: A/V interface processing, A/V encoding, Program stream multiplexing, data output, and control processor. Video encoding uses MPEG*2 real-time compressing encoding chipset to encode digital video data from video output interface by MPEG*2 compressing algorithm. After encoding, the Elementary Stream (ES) is sent to video packetize, the PES (Packetized Elementary Stream) is sent to the program multiplexer (MUX). The compressing encoding process is conducted according to MPEG*2€™s, the maximum bit rate is *5Mbps. According to MPEG€™s layer 1 and 2 standards, the specified audio encoding software encodes the analog audio signal from audio interface into audio Elementary Stream, then the audio ES is sent to the audio packetize to obtain the packetized ES(PES), the PES is sent to the program multiplexer.
