Nixoderm is formulated to keep active ingredients in contact with the skin for the maximum amount of time, with better results than liquids or thin, greasy applications that run off quickly. Can be used for: Nixoderm is widely used to treat number of skin conditions such as eczema, acne, externally caused pimples, blackhead, itching, rashes, ringworm of the skin and scalp. Many acne sufferers have also praised the effectiveness of Nixoderm on post acne blemishes. For stubborn skin conditions such as foot/hand itch and ringworm, Nixoderm treatment would be required over a considerable period of time albeit the skin surface seems to be healed. This is to allow time for Nixoderm treatment to destroy the germs, parasite and fungus burrow deep under the skin surface to prevent their re-emergence. Hence, it is recommended to continue apply Nixoderm treatment for another two to three weeks after the skin seems to be well. Those with extremely sensitive skin should note that Nixoderm can cause smarting when first applied. One option is to first apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly before Nixoderm on the first few applications for your skin to get accustomed to Nixoderm’s effect. Ingredients: Benzoic Acid 6% w/w, Salicylic Acid 2.5% w/w, Precipitated Sulphur 4.6%. Direction of Use: Apply treatment twice daily for seven days, discontinued for three days and resumed for another seven days. Continue this pattern of treatment until the condition has cleared up.
