ZHA is the appointed sole contractor to the Sarawak Government in its environmental programme to collect and recycle used tyres throughout the State. With the Government's great dedication and commitment, an *-hectare site in the Integrated Waste Management zone, along the Matang-Batu Kawa Road in Kuching has been alienated to ZHA for the construction of the recycling plant and the used tyre storage centre. 

The construction of the plant was completed in the second half of ***2 and was successfully commissioned in October, ***2. ZHA's operations was relocated from Kota Samarahan to this new plant which has an annual recycling capacity of *0,**0 MT of tyres per year.
