West Coast Waste Industries Industries, S.A., we are a company in charge of the process of recoverable solid waste materials, While at the same time is in charge of carrying out the final recycling process; the company works with various materials such as paperboard, plastic, aluminum cans, polypropylene bags, as well as biodegradable paper; (reduce, reuse and recycle), in the specific case of the company, it is responsible for collecting the material and processing it.
 
The company was born in Glendale, Los Angeles California in 1994; when a visionary man decided to create a private company that would be responsible for collecting and processing waste and recycling materials.
 
The entrepreneurial spirit of the owner and companys president drives  him to decide to expand his company to a foreign market, and it is at that  particular moment that he moves to a branch in Costa Rica, which is located in Colima de Tibs..
 
Currently the company has a warehouse of approximately 5000 square meters, thirty employees and more than two hundred and fifty suppliers..
 
In June of 2008 the American magazine "Calcontractor Magazine" published an article about the company, with the headline "Finding a niche in Green Waste Recycling" telling the history of the company and its founders
 
In 2011 the company received a certificate of recognition from the company "Save the world" in which they are mentioned as members or associates, contributing once again with the firm intention to generate a culture of social responsibility in the world.
 
Our current process is clear and simple. We receive the separated material, this is compacted, a storage is maintained until its export.
