It is simply amazing, it works on all OEM or long life drums, laser, copier and fax. It allows you to turn all the OEM or long life laser and copier drums into Eternal Drums that will last three times as longer. The largest selling drum coating in the world has been dramatically improved. For the past decade we had used polymer resin (Mohs hardness:4) as the base chemical and now we have upgraded it to Silicon Dioxide - SiO2 (Mohs hardness:8), it acts as a permanent padding powder. You are basically making long life drums for *5 cents each. Silicon Dioxide is made from finely powdered quartz and the quartz rock is the secret to the hardness and durability of the new coating. Quartz is totally non-conductive so we had to experiment with a variety of additives to make it match the conductive properties of the CTL layer underneath. Another key improvement is you will not have the initial background pages to burn off that our earlier coating caused. The price is the same but the protection is more than doubled. Applied to any drum that still pretests OK, the ETERNAL Drum Coating fills in any existing scratches and freezes the drum in the condition that it is in and prevents any additional wear from occurring on the CTL layer. We use this coat each day and i have to say it saves us a fortune and also speeds up production. If customer brings in cartridges that we don't normally recycle (we don't have any replacement parts) i don't have to worry that anycomponent will fail during the whole cycle.
