PEEK, short for polytetrafluorethylene, is a crystalline high temperature thermoplastic which offers excellent thermal and chemical resistance properties and outstanding resistance to abrasion and dynamic fatigue. Peek sheet is recommended for electrical components where a combination of high continuous service temperature (**0 degrees) with very low emission of smoke and toxic fumes on exposure to a flame is required.

PEEK are widely used as bearing shells, piston rings, valves, bearing sets, heat exchangers, electric/electrical components, aircraft components, microwave applications, automotive applications, pump & valve parts, and chemical processing.

PEEK requirements at 0.**0". This product is extremely resistant to gamma radiation, even exceeding that of polystyrene. The only common solvent that will attack PEEK is concentrated sulfuric acid. Hydrolysis resistance of PEEK is exceptional and it can operate in steam up to **0 degrees F.

PEEK can be used at high temperature continuously almost **0 cent degrees, and without losing its physical properties and chemical properties. PEEK shows high stiffness and hardness, and an unique high tensile strength and fatigue strength. PEEK provides good dielectric properties when the temperature ups to ***0 cent degrees.
