Description of pad printing silicone rubber:

GS-A*0(P) is a kind of room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber also is a addition cure silicone rubber / platinum cure silicone rubber for making printing pad. Its generally named as two part silicone rubber with9:1 mixing ratio. Part A is a flowable liquid, part B is the curing agent or catalyst. Its mainly used for make printing pad.

The silicon pad is a carrier which transfers the patterns from the steel plate onto the products' surface. It has the advantage of good printing effects, fine quality, good resilience, and without any impurity.

Application of pad printing silicone rubber: 

GS-A*0(P) silicone rubber is used for is mainly use for printing irregular patterns on plastic toys,shampoo, pen, glass,electroplating products,electroplating toys and trade marks artwork gifts, and stationery and so on.

Operation of making silicone rubber printing pads:

Step 1: prepare the original silicone pad molds

Make sure your original molds smooth and Clear .

Step2: Mix 9 part of A liquid silicone and silicone oil

Usually the original hardness of the silicone pad is around *8 shore A , our customer will add silicone oil by adjust the hardness , when adding 2% silicone oil , the hardness will reduce 2 shore A , for example **3 silicone is *8 shore A , if you require hardness of *5 shore A for printing , then add 6% silicone oil .The percentage of silicone oil added should not more than *0% . Adding silicone oil into the liquid silicone and mix it evenly

Step3:Add 1 part of B catalyst into the mixture of liquid silicone with silicone oil and mix them evenly.

＊Notes: After the Step 2 by adding and mix the silicone oil evenly ,add *0G catalyst into the mixture (*0% is the weight for the totally mixture of liquid silicone and silicone oil ) and mix them evenly .

        1.Weigh the exactly weight by electronic weight..

If not , for example add two much catalyst , the operation time will be too fast to operate ,which will cause inconvenience to operate .

        2.Mixture should stir evenly.

Otherwise the silicon rubber will be partly solidified and this will give birth to difficulties in your final operation. Whats more, the finished molds will meet a short life. All of these will cause a waste of silicon rubber.

Step4: Vacuum pumping

Without exception, this step takes less than *0 minutes. Otherwise, it will cause cross linking reaction, and no more further steps will be available.

Step 5: Pouring the mixture into the original mold

＊Notes:1. Put an wooden board on the surface of the silicone pad and set an hole on the board to make sure the board will closely stick on the pad .

       2.Wait till the silicone pad totally cured before put into production.

Package of making silicone rubber printing pads:

*0KG/drum or *5KG/drum or **0KG/drum for part A *1kg/ bottle catalyst for part B

Shelflife of making silicone rubber printing pads:

Tweleve (*2) months when stored under dry and cool place by original package under *5℃.
