The polypectomy snare is a medical device that can enter into the alimentary canal or gastrointestinal tract by passing through the endoscope channel, and after the snare traps the polyps, high frequency current is applied first for coagulation then for the removal of polyps.

Product Description:
The current whose frequency exceeds ****0Hz is named high frequency current. The high frequency current can stimulate thermal effects, neurological effects and muscle effects. Polypectomy is taking the advantage of its thermal effects, i.e., when the high frequency current passes through the tissues, high heat will be produced, resulting in the coagulation necrosis of the tissue protein, consequently, the removal of polyps, hemostasis and other therapeutic purposes have been achieved. Application:
The polypectomy snares are suitable for the removal of the polyps with pedicle and sessile polyps longer than 0.5cm. For the removal of polyps with pedicle, the snare should be powered after being placed over the pedicle with a residual of around 1cm long in order to avoid burning the tissues so deeply that perforation results. For the removal of sessile polyps, firstly, **2 dots of hypertonic saline or 1:****0 epinephrine solution should be injected to the bottom of the polyps, 1.0 ml for every dot, so as not to injure muscular layer and serosa during removal, and then the double biopsy-lumen endoscope is used to pull the poly' head to form a false pedicle at the bottom of the polyp, and finally the polyp is removed by the snare.
