Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) has rich sources (oil, limestone,
coke, salt and natural gas), its featured as mature manufacturing
process, low cost, wide application and so on. Now it has become
the world's second general resin beside the polyethylene resin,
taking *9% of the worldwide consumption of synthetic resin.
Polyvinyl chloride can be easily processed by molding,
laminating, injection molding, extrusion, rolling, blow molding,
etc.Polyvinyl chloride is mainly used to produce soft plastic
products such as artificial leather, film, wire sheath, etc, and
hard plastic products such as plates, doors, windows, pipes and
valves.
Polyvinyl chloride has the advantages of fire retardant, high
chemical resistance, excellent mechanical strength and electric
insulation.
Applications:
1. Due to its high chemical stability, it can be used in the
production of anti-corrosion pipes, fittings, pipelines,
centrifugal pumps and blowers.The hard plate products of polyvinyl
chloride are widely used in the chemical industry to make the
lining of various storage tanks, corrugated board, the frame of
doors and windows, wall decorations and other building
materials.
2. Due to its excellent electrical insulation performance, it
can be used in electrical and electronic industries to make plugs,
sockets, switches, cables, etc.
3. In daily life, polyvinyl chloride is used to make sandals,
raincoats, toys and artificial leather and so on.
