ADK STAB NA**1 is a newly developed nucleating / clarifying agent for PP and has the following advantages:- Advantages - NA**1 provides excellent overall optical properties, particularly in low MI homo- and random co polymers. - NA**1 gives high clarity over sorbitol-based clarifiers at low concentrations, leading to cost-effective solutions in clarified PP. - Lower molding temperatures lead to high clarity as compared to the opposite effect for sorbitol-based clarifiers. - NA**1 provides higher crystallization temperature in homo-and co polymers versus sorbitol-based clarifiers, especially at low concentrations. - High crystallization rates with NA**1 can lead to productivity improvements in end-use applications. - Heat Deflection Temperature of PP with NA**1 is superior to those with sorbitol-based clarifiers. - Mechanical properties of PP, such as flexural modulus and izod impact strength, are significantly enhanced with NA**1 as compared to sorbitol-based clarifiers.
