Lifts and Shuttle Carriers parking system model PPY contains several lifts with entrances/exits, and at least one shuttle carrier on every floor to park and retrieve cars, different parking floors are connected by lifts. Drivers leave their cars into entrance, then the parking progress will be done completely by system.

  1. The functions of PPYparking system:

1)     The parking system will fully automatically park and retrieve cars after clients swipe their cards.

2)     The dolly is a comb shaped exchange carrier with small plastic wheels on combs to adjust slightly the car wheels positions if they are not in the right middle of dolly. This device can ensure the car in the middle of dolly, and the security of cars while moving.

3)     The security devices in entrances and exits

Sensors are to test whether the car inside the entrance platform is suitable to park in this system by detecting if it is over any limitation of length, width, and height. If the car is not suitable, signals will appear on light box to tell the driver to exit.

The system will firstly test if there is anybody inside the entrance room when the driver swipes the card. If yes, the system will not start the program.

If any of security devices is alarming, the system will not start but show the way what to do.

4)     Garage status instructions and parking instructions lights

There is LED display on the top of each entrance or exits door, showing the situation of garage.

There are red/yellow/green lights on the left side of each entrance or exits door.  Red light refers to the system is not in use, yellow light refers to the system is running, please wait a moment; green light refers to the system is stand by, please go ahead.

There are light boxed in entrances & exits to give instructions to drivers while parking.

OK means the car is suitable in this garage and it is parked in the right place.

Warning means please drive out of the entrance.

5)     Parking system status read.

The computer monitors in control room can show the status of the parking system, not only the position of shuttle carriers, the car places, but also the visual movements of each shuttle carrier, dolly, and turntable by video cameras.  You can also search the cars quantity inside, empty places quantity and records of parking and retrieving.

6)     Image file function for parking movement:

There is a video monitoring system with data been kept in computer for at least 1 week, it is convenient for the garage owner knows the parking system running records.  It is also possible to find the car if the driver lose his card according to approximate date and time of parking.

7)     The system has four kinds of operation methods.
 
  1. Fully automatic operation by ID card.  This is the most ordinary operation way to park or retrieve cars according to the data of ID card.
  2. Fully automatic operation by touchable screen in control room. This is to park or retrieve a car according to the number of car place operated by serviceman if the driver has no ID card.
  3. Manual operation way I.  The serviceman operates the shuttle carrier by touchable screen on the shuttle carrier inside garage to realize retrieving automatically of shuttle carrier and dolly. This is for maintenance or emergency situation only.
  4. Manual operation way II. The serviceman operates the shuttle carrier by touchable screen on the shuttle carrier inside garage to control each step of movement of the shuttle carrier and dolly. This is for maintenance or emergency situation only.

8)     For some main position we use double motors to keep safety.

9)     Malfunction indication 

When the system has a malfunction, there will be a malfunction alarm shown on the screen of the control room to inform the serviceman.

*0)  Remote diagnose function

If the garage owner provides internet and international telephone line, the system can be connected to the computer of Yee Fung Shenzhen headquarter, engineers can diagnose the malfunctions of system and provide in time help.

*1)  Monitor system

There are video cameras in entrances, exits, and shuttle carriers, every movement of the system can be supervised from the monitor of control rooms.
